Fragile Debut in Bournemouth - October 10th 2003

Another exciting new venue for the band, this time in Poole where the band will take the stage at Mr Kyps who claim to be a rather different kind of venue. Originally a school hall Mr Kyps has been given extensive refurbishment having a capacity for 200 people in complete comfort. It also boasts one of the most impressive sized stages around - great for both performers and the audience. Having recently undergone extensive refurbishment Mr Kyps has superb acoustics, a large bar and comfortable seating as well as a large floor.

Mr Kyps is easy to find being just 2 minutes walk from the main bus routes to Poole & Bournemouth and only 5 minutes walk from Parkstone train station. Or if you're driving they have a large, CCTV secured car park.

Directions From Poole

From the Civic Centre in Poole, come off the one way system onto Commercial Road following signs to Bournemouth. Carry on for about half a mile until you reach a crossroads. The Central Hotel will be immediately on your left at these traffic lights. Turn left here. Follow this road up for about 75 metres, taking the left hand fork. Mr Kyps is just on the left - look out for our sign!

Directions From Bournemouth

Coming off the Wessex Way at Westbourne, follow signs for Poole and take Poole Road towards Branksome. You will pass Tescos on your left. Follow this road until you come to the first roundabout at Branksome. Take the first exit into Bournemouth Road and follow this road down for about a mile and a half. Once you get to Lower Parkstone, you will come to a crossroads where there are banks to the right and a large green/park on your left. Keep going until you get to the next crossroads. The Central Hotel will be on the right after these traffic lights. Turn right immediately before The Central Hotel. Follow this road up for about 75 metres, taking the left hand fork. Mr Kyps is just on the left - look out for our sign!
