On 6th March 1999 Fragile played one of their most unique gigs ever!

They were asked to play as pre-match entertainment for the crowd in the North Bank at Arsenal's Highbury Stadium.

These pictures taken by David Watkinson capture the band early on during the show when David was just about the only one there! He assures me that later on the crowd flocked in and many were pleasantly surprised by the band's performance.

Here Steve gets into full swing with the "demonic" Jon Bastable lurking in the background . . .

Obviously one of Arsenal's most impressive performances came at Wembley in 1988 where they held the mighty Luton Town until the very last minute before eventually succumbing 3-2!
