Bell
Listings
Not just a pub:
The
Bell is one of the west's Finest Live Music Venues (and is always
free)
It's the preferred meeting-place of the best bit of town, that means
famous popstars (sshh!)
from the last 4 decades, artists etc. as well as you and me.
And
the rolls are particularly nice too.

A
lot of people come in for our music:
We're
the pub that doesn't book pub bands, take a look on their websites
and see.

Itchy
Bath 2002 says:
"..this place is the biz if you're looking for wall to wall
humanity. There's an outside courtyard that
gets
seriously packed in the summer, live music three times a week,
rickshaws out the back,
a dartboard, games room, chess and a bar billiards table .
The perfect place to sample unusual ale and start a philosophical
debate......."

But
don't just take our word for it we're in
The Lonely Planet,
The Rough Guide,
Le Guide du Routard
(and i dunno about you, but I don't look at
anything else when I go visiting)
The Good Beer
Guide and so on.....

The
Times Pub of the Year 2002 competition
(yes, that Times) said:
"A vibrant welcoming pub...All human life ishere...
It's probably not the place to take a
maiden aunt (unless she's a fan of Real Ale,
North African jazz bands or piped reggae)...
A friendly place that's highly rated by real ale
buffs and those who enjoy free live music."
